Our story
A better way to buy a diamond.
Unique Stone Lab is a Canadian jewellery company working exclusively with lab-grown diamonds. We started because buying a diamond felt unnecessarily opaque — prices that shift depending on where you stand, grading you have to take on trust, and a sense that you are paying for the story around the stone rather than the stone itself.
Our approach is deliberately plain. We select lab-grown diamonds in the D–E colour range with VVS clarity, have them certified by IGI, and set them in designs we would wear ourselves. What you pay reflects the stone, the metal and the work — nothing else.
Why lab-grown
The same crystal, a clearer origin.
A lab-grown diamond is a real diamond. It has the same carbon crystal structure, hardness and optical behaviour as a mined one — the difference is where it formed. Ours are grown in controlled conditions over a matter of weeks, which means we know exactly where each stone came from.
Because growing a diamond costs less than extracting one, the saving goes into the stone: larger carat weight, higher colour and clarity, for the same budget.
